Cold season occurs all throughout the year. This is where virtually everyone has a cold. Most times no matter how to sanitize your hands or avoid certain public spaces you still end up catching a cold.

If your day is filled with you running errands, playing sports etc you might want to reschedule those activities as you want to rest as much as possible. Your immune system is already doing enough work by trying to fight off the cold; your body doesn’t need any added exertion. If you can take the rest of the day from school or take the day off from way it would be beneficial as you are able to stay home lie down and rest.
Often times we pick up bacteria and germs from different places that we go and our hands come in contact with. Generally you should ensure that you wash your hands regulalry, however if you are experiencing a cold you should wash it even more frequently. Our hands for the most part comes in contact with our face, nose, mouth and eyes so you want to make sure that you are not spreading your cold to others or re-infecting yourself.
When experiencing a cold a loss of appetite is common. At this point although you may not want to eat it is important that you do so as your body needs all the nutrients that it can get. Chicken soup is normally a favourite for those who are experiencing the cold as well as you eat fruits and vegetables. Fried foods are not ideal at this time as it may be hard for your stomach to digest it with all the other things going on in your body at this time. Likewise drink a lot of water and other beverages. During this period your body is dehydrated as such you need water to replenish your body. It will also help you to cleanse your system of any impurities.
Coupled with rest you can always opt to taking medication prescribed for cold. There are a number of drugs designed to help get rid of a cold and the flu. Depending on your preference and distinct symptoms there is a medicine out there suited to everyone’s needs.
